Hi All,
The Canoe and Dorney Park Trip that will take Place Jul 29- Aug 3 Their people have informed me that if the reservations are not booked by April 7 ,07 the price will go up.
For a scout to go without a parent he must have earned SWIMMING merit badge before the trip. We will work with him to Achieve this. Here is the link to the worksheets.

Reservations for up to 70 people first come first serve (We have a total of 41 scouts as of 3/22/07)
Trip includes
52 miles in a Canoe on the Delaware River
1 Day At Dorney Park Wild Water Kingdom
14 meals and snacks
5 nights camping 3 nights along the Delaware 2 nights next to 350 million year old glacier deposit from the last ice age. Its in the camp ground and it covers 15 acres.
Patches include - canoe,50 miler,Dorney Park,Historic Trails,(We next to the Appalachian Trail)
Cost is $200.00
$70.00 Deposit Due April 3, 07 Covers canoe and Dorney Reservations Due To them 4/7/07 (Which is not completely refundable Not my choice) Any reservations after this will Cost more

Trip Schedule
July 29
Leave St James Church @ 3:00 pm to Barryville NY @85 miles
Arrive Barryville @ 6:00 pm Set up camp
July 30
@ 7-8 am eat breakfast safety lesson (Leave camp set up) canoe company takes us up to Skinner Falls, We canoe downstream 18 miles back to Barryville Camp.
July 31
Wake up, eat, pack up all gear and canoe down stream 18 miles to Pa.state game lands and camp there.
Aug 1
Wake up, Eat, Pack up All Gear, and canoe down stream 16 miles to Dingmans Ferry where the canoe company picks us up and takes us back to Barryville NY We pack all our gear into cars and travel @ 95 miles south Lenhartsville Pa. BlueRocks camp ground @ 18 miles from Dorney Park
Aug 2
Dorney park Opens at 10:00 am Closes at 10:00 pm. It will be our choice as to when we arrive and leave Dorney Park ( All day at Dorney is fine with Me)
Aug 3
Wake up, Pack up, Head home and arrive @ 2pm
